365 Day 59 - A Certain Sentiment

Today's challenge at 365 Cards was to design a card using a sentiment "I Miss You" or something similar. My design is one I also designed for a "Crazy Eight" card swap. You had to use 2 B&T papers, 2 circles, 2 stamps, and 2 ribbons. All products except the ribbon are CTMH. Route 66 B&T paper, Moonstruck and Colonial White cardstock, Moonstruck and Bamboo Ink, Say It With Style My Acrylix Stamp Set (D1283) and the ribbon is from a friend! Gotta love "friends with ribbons!"

365 - Day 58 Something's Fishy

Today's challenge at 365 Cards was to design a card using at least one image of a fish on your card. This could be in the form of a stamp, paper, hand-drawn image or anything you can think of. I was in luck. The Stamp of the Month (SOM) for April is World's Best Dad. Although I've never seen a smiling fish, this stamp set has four. My design is a 3x3 card perfect to use as a tag for your Father's Day gift. It uses all CTMH products except for "Hugs & Fishes" which is Brush Script font from Word printed in brown on Bamboo cardstock and Broken Chino Distress Stickles. Caprice Level 2 B&T, Crystal Blue, Desert Sand, and Bamboo cardstock, Chocolate and Desert Sand Ink, Bitty Brads and World's Best Dad (D1342).

365 Day 57 - Super Sketchy Sunday

Today's challenge at 365 Cards was to design a card using a sketch. Unfortunately, it was early morning when I checked it out and didn't notice the white card base so my card has some "hanging chads." My design uses all CTMH products. Creative Basics Emporium Collection B&T, Emporium Level 2 B&T, Vineyard Berry, Twilight, Sweet Leaf, and Colonial White cardstock, Bitty Brads, Mini Medley Shades of Chocolate paper flowers, Cocoa and Vineyard Berry Ink, 3-D Foams Squares, My Acrylix Stamp sets Card Comment and Simple Stitches. Once I fix my "hanging chad" issue, I'll be sending it to my mom for Mother's Day.

Welcome

Please be patient with me as I learn the ins and outs of blogging. This whole blog idea has been rambling around in my head for some time and I finally decided getting something out here was better than nothing. Not to mention I was getting really tired of all that rambling noise. My goal for the next few weeks will be a weekly post including projects I've made. Once I get the hang of it, then I'll go bi-weekly and eventually challenges.
